Petty officer 1st class arrested on sex charges No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Navy 1st class petty officer was on deployment when police discovered images of what detectives classified as child porn on his computer.
Images included 1st Class Petty Officer Corey Hamilton with a child.
Hamilton was contacted by investigators, and shortly after, he sent out emails threatening to commit suicide.
Police said the Navy contacted the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office to say Hamilton was in a Navy hospital. He was eventually transferred to a civilian hospital.
When he returned to Jacksonville, he was arrested on one count of capital sexual battery, one count of video voyeurism and 14 counts of possession of child porn.
