Body found in Northside apartment complex

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man's body was found Sunday on the Northside.

Police were called to West Fourth Street in the Blodgett Villas Apartment complex.

JSO said they found 35-year-old William Nesmith dead in an open area of the complex.

Officers said there is no sign of trauma, but they are waiting for the coroner to confirm a cause of death.

JSO said foul play is suspected and it is an active homicide investigation.
