VW's 'don't text and drive' ad stuns moviegoers
Audience jolted by commercial's end after receiving location-
Volkswagen stunned moviegoers in Hong Kong with a jarring public service announcement about the dangers of texting and driving.
In a video that's gone viral, the lights in the theater dim and what looks like a commercial begins to play.
It's a first-person video of someone driving that goes on for about a minute.
Moviegoers look bored until they all receive a location-based text. As soon as they take their eyes off the commercial to reach for their phones, the car swerves off the road and crashes.
The audience gasps and sits in stunned silence.
