A teen who wanted his cat in his yearbook photo was joined by his principal and her dog in what can only be described as one epic picture.

Officials at Schenectady High School in New York told Draven Rodriguez he couldn't use a photo of him and his cat, Mr. Bigglesworth, set against a backdrop of lasers as his senior portrait.

Rodriguez launched an online petition to get the photo in his yearbook.

It went viral, but school officials still said no.

However, principal Diane Wilkinson said she'd allow the photo -- but only if she and her Chihuahua Vivienne could join them.

The new picture will go in the yearbook as a way to raise awareness for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and rescue animals.
