JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a murder-suicide, after a man and woman were found dead in a Southside apartment on Wednesday afternoon.
Homicide investigators were called to 10010 Belle Rive Blvd. Apt. 1802 on the Southside just before 2 p.m.

Officers found 42-year-old Lori Ann Sallas and 43-year-old Daniel Curt Sallas dead inside the apartment and a gun was found next to their bodies.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said that the two were divorced but they continued to see each other on and off.
Police said a relative who went to the complex to check on the woman found them dead.
"He hadn't heard from her in quite some time, and so he came over here and flagged down the management and maintenance, asked if he could go in and check on the individual that was inside," said Sgt. Dan Janson. "When they did, he discovered that she and one other person was deceased."
Daniel Sallas was arrested for domestic battery in April against Lori Sallas and another incident back in 2012.
