JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two men were found shot within two blocks of each other in Northwest Jacksonville on Monday night. One had life-threatening injuries, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Investigators from the Violent Crimes Task Force were trying to determine if the shootings were related, police said.

According to police, at 8:15 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 2100 area of Tuskegee Road in reference to a person being shot. When officers arrived, they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound to his arm.
The victim, who had no information about how or where he was shot, was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers were then dispatched to the 2100 area of Brooklyn Avenue, which is two blocks from the original scene, in reference to another person shot.
Officers found another man with an apparent gunshot wound to his leg. He was also transported to a hospital. Officials at the hospital reported the second victim had life-threatening injuries, and he was unable to provide any information.
Police said there is no information on the shooter or shooters.
