16 men sentenced in sex sting operation

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. – All 16 individuals men during a 2013 Clay County sex sting operation known as "Operation Wrong Destination" have been sentenced.

The five-day operation, spearheaded by the Clay County Sheriff's Office, was a joint effort involving several law enforcement agencies throughout the state of Florida, prosecutors said.

They said that during the operation, detectives posed as a child who posted an advertisement on Craigslist. These 16 men then made arrangements to meet the undercover detective, who posed as the child.

Each of the defendants pleaded guilty or were convicted of charges of traveling to meet a minor to do unlawful acts, unlawful use of a two-way communications device, and solicitation of a child to engage in sexual conduct. Their sentences are as follows:

  • Andrew Johnston - 10 years in prison.
  • Danny Pasicolan - 10 years in prison. He was also convicted of transmission of material harmful to minors.
  • Jared Snow - Eight years in prison, followed by five years of sex offender probation.
  • Isaiah Salowitz - Six years in prison, followed by nine years of sex offender probation. He also pleaded guilty to one count of solicitation of a child's guardian to allow a sexual act.
  • Steven Pinkham - Five and a half years in prison, followed by five years of sex offender probation. He also pleaded no contest to one count of solicitation of a child's guardian to allow a sexual act.
  • Victor Morales - Five years in prison, followed by five years of sex offender probation. He also pleaded no contest to one count of solicitation of a child's guardian to allow a sexual act.
  • Clyde Littleman - Five years in prison, followed by five years of sex offender probation. He also pleaded no contest to one count of solicitation of a child's guardian to allow a sexual act.
  • Jamie Crowther - Four and a half years in prison, followed by five years of sex offender probation.
  • Vladimir Mirzoyev - Four and a half years in prison, followed by 10 years of sex offender probation. He also pleaded no contest to possession of a controlled substance and possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis.
  • Charles Ressler - Four years and two months in prison, followed by five years of sex offender probation.
  • Kenneth Sprague III - Four years and two months in prison, followed by five years of sex offender probation.
  • Michael Sculley - Four years and two months in prison, followed by five years of sex offender probation.
  • Matthew Pike - Four years in prison, followed by five years of sex offender probation.
  • Brad Lang - Four years in prison, followed by five years of sex offender probation.
  • Vincent Ricci - Three years in prison, followed by three years of sex offender probation.
  • John Perritt - Sentenced as a youthful offender to two years of community control.
