One killed in shooting on Southside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was found shot to death in the parking lot of the Mathews Crossing Apartments on the Southside late Friday night.

Officers were called to the complex on Atlantic Boulevard near Century 21 Drive shortly before midnight.

When they got to the scene, they found a black male between the ages of 20 and 30 years old dead in the parking lot.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses and currently don't have any suspect information.
