Gunfire in UPS parking lot

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are investigating after at least one shot was fired late Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of the UPS Center at 4420 Imeson Road.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, no one was hit by the gunfire, but witnesses said there was a large police presence and the area was surrounded by crime-scene tape.

UPS released a statement Tuesday evening:

"We can confirm that there was an incident earlier today at the UPS Center in Jacksonville, FL. Two individuals got into a dispute outside of the facility and shots were fired. Police were called and the individual was arrested. No UPS employees were involved. There was no impact to UPS service at the facility."
