Police: Bridge of Lions temporarily stuck up

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Bridge of Lions was stuck in the up position for about 45 minutes Friday, according to the St. Augustine Police Department.

The bridge went up at 11:45 a.m., and it's unclear why it became stuck. St. Augustine requested help from Jacksonville engineers to fix the problem.

But the bridge lowered and traffic began crossing again about 12:30 a.m.
