Gainesville crash closes Museum Rd. No description found
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A 22-year-old University of Florida student was seriously injured Monday when the scooter she was riding hit a truck in Gainesville, police said.
According to the Gainesville Police Department, Maria Isabel Zamora Re, 27, was turning left from SW 13th Street onto the UF campus at Museum Road on a flashing yellow light about 6 a.m. and turned into the path of a scooter, ridden by Gabriella Leona Molden.
Molden's scooter hit the front right quarter panel and windshield of the truck.
Molden was in serious but stable condition.
The crash closed S.W. 13th Street at Museum Road for about an hour.
