Normandy Boulevard bank robbed

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are investigating a robbery Friday afternoon at the Atlantic Coast Bank on Normandy Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

According to Jacksonville Sheriff's Office robbery detectives, a man entered the bank at 8048 Normandy Blvd. 2:35 p.m., indicated he had a gun and demanded money. The teller complied and the man left. 

No customers were in the bank at the time and no tellers were injured.

The robber was described as a white man in his mid-30s weighing 195 to 210 pounds, 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing a dark blue shirt and jeans with a hat, sunglasses.
