1 killed after vehicle hits structure at Orlando Speed World
Victim taken to hospital, pronounced dead, Orange County Fire Rescue says
BITHLO, Fla. – One person was killed after a vehicle hit a structure Saturday at Orlando Speed World in Bithlo, Orange County Fire Rescue said.
Orange County Sheriff's Office officials said the adult victim was taken to a hospital as a trauma alert but pronounced dead.
The victim was a male in his early 40's and his vehicle was traveling approximately 140 mph, said deputies.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene Saturday night.
