Victim's father, convicted killer clash in Orange County courtroom

Courtroom outburst involving Bessman Okafor caught on camera

ORLANDO, Fla. – An intense confrontation in Orange County courtroom was caught on camera as the father of a murder victim came face to face with his son's killer.

Bessman Okafor, 30, is facing the death penalty after being found guilty of killing Alex Zaldivar in 2012.

After Zaldivar's father, Rafael, finished his remarks to a judge Tuesday, he turned to Okafor and told him he was "dead."

Okafor then lashed out with a string of profanities before being removed from the courtroom while saying, "(I'll) show you how gangster I am."

Earlier this summer a jury recommended the death penalty for Okafor.  The judge is expected to make a final decision on a death sentence next month.
