Dump truck spills sand, gravel on I-95 at JTB No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A dump truck overturned Thursday morning on Interstate 95 northbound just before the Butler Boulevard exit.
The accident closed one lane of traffic, causing back ups to the Baymeadows Road exit. Drivers were taking alternate routes at Philips Highway and Southside Boulevard to Beach Boulevard.
The dump truck was carrying a large load of sand and gravel that spilled onto the roadway, forcing workers to shovel the debris off the road.
It's unclear if there were any injuries in the crash, but no one was taken to the hospital.
