You're invited to wear a pink or blue shirt, depending on your guess for the gender. Prizes will be given away to those who attend, including penguin encounters, tickets to the Zoo and more.

The name of the penguin will also be announced that day. If it's a boy, it will be called C.J. If it's a girl, her name will be P.J.

Names were chosen by long time Zoo volunteer and penguin advocate, Peggy Wilchek, known by many as ‘Penguin Peggy.' The name C.J. was chosen after her grandchildren Carter and Jack, and the name P.J. was chosen after herself and her husband, John.

She has traveled the world to see all 18 species of penguins in their natural habitat.

The gender reveal party is free with Zoo admission, and the Kids Free November promotion can be used to enter the Zoo that day.
