Andrew Jackson High cleared after bomb threat

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Andrew Jackson High School has reopened after a bomb threat forced an evacuation at the school Wednesday morning.

Students and staff were relocated to a safe location off campus as officers searched the school. According to Duval County Public Schools spokesman Mark Sherwood, the school was cleared and students have returned to their classes. Parents are asked not to call their students.

Sherwood said the threat came in as an email to administrators.
