Man driven to hospital after NW Jax shooting No description found
JACKSONVILLE,Fla. – A 25-year-old man was shot Wednesday night on West 27th Street, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. on West 27th near the intersection of Wilson Street.Police were called when the victim arrived at UF Health Jacksonville. His injuries were not life-threatening
Police dispatched to the scene and were investigating and looking for witnesses. Lt. Michael Shell said it was too early to say anything about the motive or suspect, but said there was no indication it was related to the shooting of a 16-year-old earlier in the evening West 12th Street, about 2 miles away.
