6 passengers injured in bus crash on I-95

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – At least six people received minor injuries Tuesday morning when a passenger bus blew a front tire and the driver lost control on Interstate 95 near the St. Johns and Flagler county line, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Rescue personnel and sheriff's deputies said all 26 passengers were able to get off the bus. Those injured were taken to Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine.

It wasn't immediately know where the Megabus line trip originated or where it was headed when the accident happened just after 8 a.m..

As of 11 a.m., one northbound lane remained blocked near Mile Marker 30, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Motorists should expect delays in the area until the scene is cleared.
