Convergys evacuated while bomb squad investigates

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Convergys building on the Southside was evacuated Friday afternoon while a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office bomb squad investigated bomb threats.

The threats were made by an anonymous caller Friday morning about 9 a.m., police said. The caller said there was a bomb in the building.

The building was evacuated around 1 p.m. It was searched and cleared by four K-9 teams, and employees were allowed to return to the building.
