GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gainesville police were called to the scene on SW 13th Street early Sunday morning in response to a man found unconscious and bleeding.

Chance Wolf, 20, was taken to UF Health in Gainesville, where he died, according to investigators.

Security footage revealed Wolf exiting the elevator on the sixth floor of a residential building and opening a door overlooking a courtyard. Wolf apparently walked forward and fell over a glass barrier, falling to the ground below, police said.

GPD does not suspect foul play in the incident.

Alachua County and University of Florida crisis counselors responded to the building to assist residents. A majority of those residents were Wolf's fraternity brothers.

Wolf was a student from Weston, Fla.
