Police search for Popeye's burglar

JACKSONIVLLE, Fla. – Police are looking for a man who is accused of burglarizing a Popeye’s restaurant by entering from the ceiling early Monday morning.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it happened at the Popeye’s on South McDuff Avenue.

Surveillance video showed the suspect falling through the ceiling of a Popeye’s early Monday morning on Jan. 18. After several hours of prying and hitting a safe, the suspect was able to break it open and steal the money.
