JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One man was arrested Friday after police found heroin, guns and cash in a home on Noroad on the Westside, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

Elements of JSO's SWAT team helped serve a high-risk, drug-related search warrant at the mobile home, which is near Old Middleburg Road.

Patrol cars and undercover vehicles surrounded the home Friday afternoon.

The man arrested, whose name has not been released, is charged with sale and delivery of heroin.

Two women there were questioned and released, police said.

Officers said Friday that heroin use is on the rise in Florida since pill mills were shut down across the state, because heroin gives users a similar effect to narcotic pills.
