Air Canada's first nonstop flight between Jacksonville and Toronto

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – You can now fly non-stop from Jacksonville, Florida to Toronto, Canada. Air Canada’s first nonstop flight out of Jacksonville International left Saturday, wheel’s up happened at 12:15 p.m.  The first flight from Toronto International touched down at JAX  at 11:40 a.m.

This new service for May was pushed up to bring Canadians in for the Players Tournament.

This new route adds to the introduction of flights on Allegiant, connecting Jacksonville with nonstop service to New Orleans, Richmond and Memphis. Those flights took off for the first time in April. The new routes are the result of four years’ worth of work.
