Police seek semi driver in hit-and-run crash Bicyclist hit rear wheels of semi; driver might not know it, police say No description found
WAYCROSS, Ga.. – Waycross police are looking for help identifying and contacting a trucker involved in a hit-and-run crash, and he probably doesn't even know it.
The empty log truck with a white cab was traveling on Plant Avenue at about 9:45 a.m. Wednesday when a bicyclist leaving the parking lot of George's Liquors rode into the rear wheels of the semi.
He was flown to UF Health in Jacksonville with serious injuries.
The semi driver continued west on Plant Avenue from Blackshear toward Waycross.
