UPDATE: This is from an Amber Alert from earlier this week. Police have located the suspect, but NOT the missing girl. 
Diana Alvares went missing from the Ft. Myers on May 29.

An Amber Alert was issued Thursday for a 9-year-old girl missing from Fort Meyers, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said.

Diana Alvares, who has black hair and brown eyes, ​was last seen on May 29 in the 3500 block of Unique Circle.

FDLE said Alvares was wearing a short-sleeved shirt and shorts.

Authorities believe she is in the company of 28-year-old Jorge Guerrero, of Fort Meyers.

Guerrero is believed to have ties to Orange County and Okechobee County area.

FDLE said Guerrero is said to be traveling in a Chevrolet Malibu with Florida tag number 78NHD.
