JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man shot several times Thursday night in the Windy Hill neighborhood on the city's Southside has died, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Police identified the man as 26-year-old Lloyd William Gilpin III.

Officers were called to investigate about 9:45 p.m. Thursday off Skycrest Drive.
Gilpin was taken to UF Health, where he later died.
Now his mother said she wants justice.
Kimberly Gilpin said that her son had recently gotten out of jail and planned on living a better life.
She said he was an organ donor, and his organs will save five lives.
The Sheriff's Office said detectives continue to work to identify a possible suspect or suspects in the shooting.
