Man, 26, convicted of dealing heroin from hotel room

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 26-year-old man was convicted Friday of heroin trafficking in Jacksonville.

Justin Todd Alexander Edrington was also found guilty of trafficking in Oxycodone, possession of Alprazolam, possession of Methadone, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In May 2014, Edrington was at the Howard Johnson hotel on Salisbury Road, and undercover detectives were notified that he was selling heroin out of his hotel room.

When officers searched Edrington’s room, they found heroin, Alprazolam and other drugs.

Edrington now faces a minimum of three years and up to 60 years in prison. He will be sentenced the week of Nov. 28.
