Man shot in back hospitalized No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was taken to the hospital after he was shot in his back Saturday evening in a parking lot, according to Jacksonville police.
Investigators said the shooting happened at about 4:55 p.m. at the Monaco Arms Apartments on Monaco Drive. When police arrived they found a man in his early to mid 20s with a gunshot wound to his back.
Police described his injuries as non life-threatening. He was taken to UF Health for treatment.
The man told police the shooter was inside a white four door car, but could not provide a description of the person who shot him.
