Fire crews called to the University of Florida campus found the source of smoke on the fifth floor of an engineering building, according to Gainesville Fire Rescue.

The smoke was reported in Black Hall, which houses the Department of Environmental Engineering Sciences. The building is at 1128 Center Drive.

Firefighters investigating the fourth and fifth floors, found the source of smoke on the fifth floor coming from a hood suppression system.

The building has been evacuated and crews are ventilating the building.
