JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One person suffered minor injuries in a shooting Thursday in Northwest Jacksonville, police said.
Officers responded just after 3 p.m. to Wickwire and St. Clair streets after receiving reports of gunshots.

Police said they did not find any victims at the scene. But investigators later learned that a person had been taken to an area hospital with gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
