Man found shot in street dies at hospital No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla – A man in his 50s was shot and killed early Wednesday morning on Benedict Road, near the intersection of Moncrief Road and West 45th Street, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Police said they found the man injured in the street at about 12:45 a.m. He was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where he died.
Witnesses in the area said they heard a verbal argument before the shooting.
Authorities have not released the name of the victim or the shooter.
