Man shot outside Baymeadows Road hotel Jacksonville police looking for information about shooter No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot several times early Tuesday morning in the parking lot of a Baymeadows hotel, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
The shooting occurred in the side parking lot of the Hawthorn Suites hotel on Baymeadows Road.
About 4:30 a.m., police responding to a call of shots fired found a man on the ground in the side parking lot of the Hawthorn Suites Hotel. Police said they had no suspect description, no vehicle description and no word on motive.
The man's name and age were not released.
Police have not found any eyewitnesses, only heard from people who said they heard five or six shots. Police said that they would look at surveillance footage in the area.
