City Council moves forward with resolution to honor Corky Rogers Legendary Bolles football coach retired this month No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville City Council is moving forward with a resolution honoring former Bolles football coach Corky Rogers for what he has done for local young people and recognizing his long and storied career.
The resolution commending Rogers -- the most successful high school football coach in the history on the state of Florida -- was presented at Tuesday night's City Council meeting.

Rogers retired this month at age 73. He led Bolles to 10 state championships and another six state runner-up finishes.
His 466 wins are the most ever in Florida and the fifth most in the nation.
