JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Loved ones continue to hope for closure five months after a 28-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run in Northwest Jacksonville.
Family and friends held a vigil Wednesday night to remember Patricia Holt and remind people to report anything that can help solve the case.
Holt is one of five people who were killed as they walked along New Kings Road in a two-month period last fall.

Her loved ones came together at New Kings Road near Moncrief Road, where Holt was hit and killed the night of Nov. 5.
Witnesses said a driver in a blue Acura SUV ran into Holt. Police need more than that to find whoever is responsible for Holt's death.
Family members feel like they deserve that.
"I just want to tell the person who did it, you know who you are. How can you sleep at night? And what if that happened to one of your loved ones? You have no conscience, but God is working in our favor. He's going to show us the light," said Audrey Middleton, Holt's mother. "Somebody knows something. Justice will prevail. And if even though it's been five months, if you know something, please go tell the detectives. Tell all you know. Don't make up a story. Tell the truth. I want that done mainly for my granddaughter."
Some of the family members told News4Jax that they know it was an accident, they know it wasn't intentional and they know the person who hit Holt should tell the truth.
Since Holt's death, and four other pedestrian deaths on New Kings Road, a group called The Northside Coalition has called on city leaders to do something about the dangers there.
