3 wounded in shootout outside Brunswick mall Slug also hit police cruiser
BRUNSWICK, Ga. – A gunfight left three people wounded outside a bar and restaurant in the Glynn Place Mall early Saturday morning, according to the Glynn County Police.
The shootout happened at about 2 a.m. Saturday when a fight at the Blue Bay, a bar and grill, led to gunfire in the parking lot.
Glynn County Police Chief Matt Doering said at least three handguns and one semi-automatic rifle were fired during the shootout. He says one of the three people wounded suffered serious injuries and was flown by helicopter to a hospital in Savannah.
A Glynn County police patrol car was hit by a bullet, but no officers were injured.
Doering said investigators are working to identify suspects. No arrests were immediately reported.
