Wildfire reported near Old Kings Road Landfill causing heavy smoke

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A  wildfire ignited Sunday near the Old Kings Road Landfill causing heavy smoke, officials said. 

Viewers reported that they saw smoke coming from behind the St. James Place housing development on Garden street.

The Florida Highway Patrol is warning drivers in the area that visibility may deteriorate quickly due to heavy smoke from the wildfire.
