Burglar goes through roof of St. Augustine pawn shop

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Deputies and officers arrested a burglar who broke into the 312 Pawn Shop in St. Augustine.

Deputies from the St. Johns County Sheriff's Officer and officers from the St. Augustine Police Department, as well as Air One, all responded to the burglary.

The sheriff's office reports someone went through the roof of the pawn shop. The suspect was later arrested and is facing burglary charges.

According to the sheriff's office, residents near the shopping center on A1A and Pope Road may hear or see a lot of police activity.
