ORANGE PARK, Fla. – A 17-year-old was arrested in connection with a shooting Thursday afternoon at an apartment complex in Oakleaf Plantation, the Clay County Sheriff's Office said Friday.

Edward Javon Stewart is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault.

Deputies responded about 4:40 p.m. Thursday to the Millstone apartment complex on Plantation Oaks Boulevard. 

According to the Sheriff's Office, there was a fight involving a large group of adults and youths and, at one point, a firearm was discharged.

Deputies said one male was shot and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Another male was injured, but it's unclear how he was hurt.

It's also unknown whether the two injured were adults or youths.

The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
