JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville man accused of stabbing his pregnant girlfriend to death last month has been charged with two counts of murder.
Armanuel Nathaniel Cummings, 38, pleaded not guilty to those charges Tuesday. He's being held without bond and will be back in court June 13.

Police said Cummings stabbed D'Anna Thorn, 29, repeatedly as she was trying to climb back into his Brentwood neighborhood home through a window after the two had an argument and Cummings kicked her out. The home is on West 21st Street near Silver Street.
Thorn and her unborn child died a short time later at UF Health Jacksonville.
Because Thorn was five months pregnant, the State Attorney's Office filed two second-degree murder charges against Cummings for the deaths of Thorn and the unborn child.
Thorn left behind three children.
Records show Cummings worked at First Coast Security, and he had no criminal history.
Thorn's family created a GoFundMe account to pay for her funeral.
