JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Nine men, who range in age from 24 to 66, were arrested Wednesday in a prostitution crackdown, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
According to police, the men tried to pay an undercover officer to perform a sex act.

The operation focused on two areas -- Ramona Boulevard in Normandy and Philips Highway on the Southside -- and was conducted in response to complaints from people who live in the neighborhoods.
Here are the names of the nine arrested and the charges they face:
Eugene A. Anderson, 37, of Jacksonville, is charged with soliciting for prostitution.
Ryante Markell Burke, 25, of Jacksonville, is charged with offering, committing or engaging in prostitution or assignation -- first offense.
Erick Joel Villatoro Chavez, 28, of Jacksonville, is charged with soliciting for prostitution.
Fred Spearing Hutchinson, 66, of Jacksonville, is charged with carrying a concealed firearm and offering, committing or engaging in prostitution or assignation -- first offense.
William Christopher Manning, 52, of Jacksonville, is charged with soliciting for prostitution.
Maurice Antonio Mickens, 30, of Jacksonville, is charged with soliciting for prostitution.
Justin-Isaiah Okoye Morris, 25, of Jacksonville, is charged with soliciting for prostitution.
Bert Louis Sheppard Jr., 24, of Jacksonville, is charged with possession of controlled substance without prescription and soliciting for prostitution.
Michael Shawn Sikes, 45, of Hilliard, is charged with soliciting for prostitution.
