An 18-year-old man was shot Sunday while walking on 43rd Street near Dodge Road in the city's Royal Terrace neighborhood
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An 18-year-old man was shot Sunday while walking on 43rd Street near Dodge Road in the city's Royal Terrace neighborhood, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Police said a silver car pulled up about 1:43 p.m. and fired 15-20 shots at the man.
A person, possibly a neighbor, took the victim to UF Health Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police said they don't know how many people were in the car or have a description of any potential suspects.
