JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Authorities were called early Friday evening to search for a man in the St. Johns River in downtown Jacksonville, authorities said.
Multiple agencies responded just after 6 p.m. to a report of a person who had fallen into the water off the Riverwalk, near the Acosta Bridge.

A crew aboard a 29-foot response boat from the Coast Guard Station Mayport arrived at the scene about 6:20 p.m.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Jacksonville Fire-Rescue, and the U.S. Coast Guard all participated in the search.
On Saturday, a body was seen floating in the river around 8pm.
A fire rescue boat was sent out and a man was pulled from the river near the Times Union Center.
