Deputy wrangles, releases alligator in St. Johns County
No description foundST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A St. Johns County deputy captured a lost alligator and returned it to a retention pond, the Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.
No description foundThe Sheriff's Office shared photos on Facebook of Deputy Cameron Coward wrangling the alligator in a parking lot.
A Sheriff's Office spokesperson said the alligator was released in a place that was safe for it.
The Sheriff's Office did not say when or where the alligator was found.
