JSO: Man shot, killed at Northwest Jacksonville apartment complex No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot multiple times and killed Tuesday night at an apartment complex in the Moncrief area of Northwest Jacksonville, police said.
Officers responded about 7:30 p.m. to reports of gunfire at the apartment complex on West 45th Street.
When they arrived, police found a 25- to 30-year-old man who had been fatally shot, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. The man has not yet been identified.
Witnesses told police two masked gunmen walked up the man, shot him multiple times and then ran off.
Detectives said it's unknown whether the deadly shooting was related to another deadly shooting nearby on Shenandoah Avenue.
