PGA Tour moving headquarters to new Palm Valley Road facility

County commissioners approve incentives for move to site

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – The PGA Tour will consolidate its headquarters into a new purpose-built facility on land the Tour already owns along Palm Valley Road near the TPC Sawgrass.

The move, which will also include land currently owned by the county that will be sold to the Tour, will consolidate employees from multiple buildings in St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra. The tour owned land is currently used as parking for The Players Championship and other events in the area.

St. John's County Commissioners approved a set of incentives worth $2.758 million Tuesday in a unanimous vote.

The entire project is estimated to cost $86 million.

The Tour hopes to have the new headquarters open by 2020.
