Camden County hosting drive-thru flu shot clinic in November

The clinic runs 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Lowes in Kingsland

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – For those living in Camden County who still need their flu shots, you're in luck.

The county health department is hosting a drive-thru flu vaccination clinic next month. It will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Lowes on East Boone Avenue in Kingsland.

Vaccinations are recommended for everyone six months old and up, according to the health department. It takes about two weeks for the vaccine to take effect.

"Flu season is unpredictable so residents are encouraged to get vaccinated now," the agency said in a news release.
