Man, juvenile wounded in Woodstock double shooting

One victim driven to hospital by unidentified person, police say

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two people were wounded in a double shooting Saturday night at an apartment complex in Jacksonville’s Woodstock neighborhood, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said. 

Police were called about 10:26 p.m. regarding a man and a male juvenile shot at the Huron Sophia Apartments at 2800 Sophia Street.

Officers said one of the victims was taken to an area hospital by a person police have not yet identified. The other victim was taken to an area hospital by Jacksonville Fire Rescue crews, police said. 

Police did not say whether it was the man or juvenile who was taken to the hospital by the unidentified driver. 

No information was released about the victims’ condition.
