Missing Titusville teen found safe, authorities say

TITUSVILLE, Fla. – A Missing Child Alert was canceled Tuesday night after a missing Titusville teenager was found safe, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Jacob Mayo, who identifies as female and regularly uses the name Jackie, was reported missing after the 16-year-old was last seen Jan. 17 wearing a gray Dickies jacket, a black hoodie and black or dark gray pants, authorities said.

Hours after the Missing Child Alert was issued, FDLE said, Mayo was found safe. Authorities did not release information about where the teen was located.
