Man shot, killed on Jacksonville's Westside Police say man taken to hospital where he later died No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot and killed Monday night in the Hillcrest area on the Westside, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
When officers arrived on Mohawk Street at Plymouth Street, near Eureka Gardens apartments, just before 8 p.m.they said they found a man shot, lying in the middle of the street. Police said the man was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with life-threatening injuries. He later died from his injuries.
Officers shut down Plymouth between Mohawk and Denaud streets while they investigated.
